A quiet life I led
Just walking the silent road Eerie and beautiful I hear the birds sing their sonnets As their wings blow into a world A world intoxicated with serenity I lived a quiet life Just glancing through images Filling their empty voids with elegance I have the world to myself The vicinity embracing me with glory Flourished with the glamour of peace Oh what a beautiful and quiet life Every passing second seen with nostalgia Fragrant with the flowers entangled in day Each frame lined with a sun-lit glow Just walking this quiet road Where I wake from a wonderous slumber Waking to a quiet life |
