Saddened Mists That Cry Out Options

Mists of gray wash over the shore,
Slowly eroding the horrible past,
There is a hope once that it would
Finally be safe for her to be herself,
But being discriminated in this harsh land
Isn't unknown among any of the people,
Everyone has been hurt one way or another,
She's been hurt the worst of them all...
And she knows this all too well...
Her heart cries out for understanding eyes,
She knows that she won't recieve them.
Saddened by this fact,
She has considered commiting seppku many times,
Wanting to escape her chains,
She's bound here painfully,
To continue to recieve the torment she recieves,
All of the pleading she does
Is nothing to the monster that beats her,
She's been beaten to an inch of her life,
She now wishes to die,
To join her beloved mother in heaven.

For people that don't know, seppku is the Japanese word for suicide.
