Remember not to get mad at your friends for stupid things. I think that's really important that I didn't learn until last year. I mean, I got mad at my friends really easily at the STUPIDEST things that i don't even remember now.

QUOTE
A few of them are mad at me I think because I chose to leave to go on vacation the last day of school instead of actually going to school.

Why would they be mad? They're probably jealous that you got to skip school. If they seriously get mad at stuff like that, tell them to grow up?

QUOTE
And then a few others I think are a little ticked off because I havent called them, so they havent called me or anything.

If you feel so anti-social, then why not call them? No reason to be mad because you haven't called. If they're so mad at you for not calling then why don't they call you?

Look, I spent a lot of my summers worrying about how anti-social I am. Worrying about friends who never called. The thing is, if they don't call you then why don't you call them.

And if you don't get along with people in your school, then meet people outside of school. You shouldn't limit yourself to only people in your grade in your school. Meet people of your interest and remember to join some clubs in the schoolyear.

Yeah, you seem fine to me... if you want to hang out with someone... call them, and if you don't... well, don't call anyone... It's really as simple as that...
