My layout isnt properly alligned, How to I hide the advertisements?! |

I used a layout from a different website but I've basically had this problem with every layout I try.
Is there any way to hide the advertisement bar on the right? AND The entries are way out of line. I dont know how to fix this. My Livejournal Ps. I've already tried unselecting the navigation bar and using the generator option. |
