Blogring vs. Xangans/cB Options

Okay this isn't going to be a bashing Blogring thread (if it still exists - does it? ), but does anyone remember this rivalry? Does anyone still go there?

I remember I signed up for blogring about 6-7 months ago. I said CB ruled, funny thing is that they actually gave me a warm welcome.

Oh man, I remember that! I was a lurker back in those days but I remember the fueding well. I would show some links to those threads if I wasn't so tired. Blogring still exist, I think they have a different owner though. I signed up for the site a looooong ago, before I became an active member here. I didn't stay long because it seemed somewhat disorganized.

I was a member of Blogring before I found Xangans/cB. I remember I was on Blogring at the end of 2003 to beginning of 2004. And poof came cB/Xangans. And so, I left Blogring. The End.

im a member at br before cb. I'm actually trying to be active on both.

br, most ppl go there for layouts and that's it. I think michael zhang is the creator, but now i think he sold it.

cb is used to be like br before undergo version 3.

I checked blogring for xanga scripts, and my God, it's so unorganized. I guess I'll always be a cB person

i remember all the jocking of cB layouts by blogring members. when i joined, it was after i joined cB (i don't remember why). at the time i joined, which was late 2004?, there was a HUGE problem with jocking. like a person would post up a layout and be like, "I made it!" and then 30 minutes late, someone would be like, "Jocker! It's from cB!" or "Jocker! You stole the script!"

i came back here because unlike over there, 1 out 4 layout isn't jocked.

I signed up there on January. I told them I was a CB member and they were nice (most of them weren't). I was pretty much confused where the heck each forum was, though. I got suspended for um... advertising <_< It was boring overall.

I remember when that rivalry was huuugee. They were stealing all of our scripts and a few skins. It's not so bad anymore, blogring kind of died down. It was always so disorganized.

BR is actually under new management, so to speak. Remember the BR drama thread in Introductions that ended up getting closed?

I visit once in a while, but usually it's when Jamie posts a link in chat of her "owning" someone. All of Jamie's BR stories start out, "So.. I was owning people on BR..."

i remember the feud. i rememebr the first time they stole from us, they took nerdish's skin (behind the smile) and everyone flipped their shits and started war on them.

then after i became a soldier in that war, i found that if you typed createblog, it would change it to blogring. createblog.com = blogring.

also, that place is really hard to navigate. they have really confusing names for stuff.


i'm not sure about this, but didn't blogring report xangans to xanga and talk about how we were doing copyright infringement or whatever? for having the same name? or was that just discovered of their own accord? well either way, blogring is totally jocking xanga's layout :(
