okay i want to make a div overlay for myspace and i have a pretty good idea what im doing i want to do something like this one
 and i was wondering if there is a way on photoshop to make a box that is transparent over an image, like the picture above? thanks

New Layer -> Make a selection -> Fill with white (or whatever colour) and add a stoke -> Lower the opacity of the layer
