excersising daily, .....

Okay, well, summer is here, and since I don't have PE anymore, I find myself to lack off in exercising. I'm not fat or chubby or anything, and I'm not trying to loose weight, I just wanted to stay in shape. I don't have DDR (so don't say, play ddr, i dont even have a game system), and I'm not gonna buy any tapes on aerobics (sp?!?!), because I'm pretty broke. I'd go to the gym, except I have no ride considering my parents are at work the whole day until 10:00PM, and I don't feel like going outside running because..well, in my neighborhood there has been two rapist crimes..and i'm kind of freaked out just thinking about going outside by myself in the morning, or afternoon (especially not at night). It sounds like I'm making excuses, but if I was, I wouldn't bother starting this topic, would I?

Basically, I would like to get some advice how I can stay in shape without any of ^those possible reasons getting in the way. Should I just do like, a normal 15 minute exercise every day (10 curl ups, 10 push ups, stretch, etc.)? And, are there any specific sites where they show you step by step how to do specific stuff like, make your calves skinner or something (like how they have those pages of excersises in seventeen, but remember that i cant buy any magazines considering im BROKE)?

I looked through the stuff pages to read before in the health section, but I'm not trying to go on a diet..and idk..the pages didn't seem to help that much for me?!?!

GO OUTSIDE AND RUN!!!

dont forget to use protection ;] the pepper spray, alot of keys for jabbing, hidden knifes, kunai, chain, sharp dangerous razor, and perfume bottle with an actual toxic liquid.

combining pepper spray and toxic liquid makes eye condition worse, stronger, and effective!

Have you heard of the magazine Seventeen? Well basically..every month they have a new exercise routine.That might help.

Run in place or do crunches while watching TV?

jump on your bed/couch... that's always fun, esp. if your parents aren't home. then you can just fix up the place before they get home, and they'll never know! hehe shifty.gif

do weights first (biceps, triceps, etc.), then do 100 pushups in 4 reps of 25 (you'll see results if you do this everyday for one month), then take a rest before running (or other cardio)

that's my excersize plan. i do it everyday whenever i find time to do it. haha.

When I think of protections I was like "Wtf, why would she bring condoms?" XD.gif.
Run on a treadmill if you have one. Go workout with a friend who has exercise equipment. Run around the outside of your house or up & down the steps.

If you can't buy magazines, and are too scared to go out and run then you can probably google about some excercises that you can do at home.

There are exercise channels?!?! I have direct TV....and I've never seen any exercise channels....

^I'm still trying to figure out if you actually read my first post. Well, in my first post, I said I couldn't really buy magazines because I'm pretty broke...I don't even have a dollar...I spent most(or all) of my money on shopping last month. And, NO, I don't get allowance.

Yeah, you can run in place while watching TV or something.
Running up and down stairs is good, too.
Crunches/Sit-ups are really good too.

I HAVE to work out in the Summer for volleyball and we do tons of crunches and lots of running, so it's good if you can at least do that.

you're in the exact same position i'm in.

no PE anymore.
i basically don't have access to any gym, swimming pool, or anything & i don't really want to be seen sweating, tired, and looking crappy while people i know who live in the neighborhood as well look at me.
i only have dumbells + this leg step machine + a jumprope.

surprisingly, you can do a lot a home!
i found a lot over the net with exercises + magazines like seventeen.
CARDIO should go with almost everything though--or so i've heard--for things like slimming thighs and such. cardio exercises include: walking, running, swimming, biking, aerobic dance, step aerobics, kickboxing, rowing, and JUMPING ROPE.
