Seriously, it doesn't matter. If you discriminate people just for their own sexual orientationt then you have serious issues to straighten out.

im actually neither. i mean i dont care. it's not my life but my sister is bi and i respect that. even if you're bi/lesbian/gay i wont treat you any differently from how i treat a straight person & if that's what they choose to be than you cant really do anything. happy.gif

I don't think its exactly the right thing to do, but I'm not going to hold it against anyone that is. Everyone should be happy being who they are, and you shouldn't change anyone so they closer to your standards.

I'm not against it, but I'm not for it either. I'm tolerant I guess. I believe people should be able to express themselves, but I wouldn't be caught fighting for gay marriage rights.

I think I don't get how one could be attracted to someone of the same gender...I used to be quite a homophobe but I'm getting over it now.

I never held anything against people that were bi, lesbians, or gay.
I have so many guy friends that are gay, my best friend is gay.
I really don't feel ackward or weird around them.
Sometimes I feel more comfortable with gay guys lol
god they make me laugh.
But yah, I have no problem with it.

When it comes to the whole marriage thing, eh...
I dunno why, but i'm not for same-sex marriage.
Though, I have no problem with same-sex relationships.
Weird, huh? No idea why.

See, the thing that annoys me is that when people are against homosexuality, people that aren't against it assume that the people who ARE against it are disrespecting homosexuals.

Well I'm sorry, but that's just NOT true.

I don't treat gay/bi/lesbian people any less. In fact, my very best good friend is bi, and I couldn't care less!! I dont' try to change her. I just dont agree that it's right.

In fact, I don't believe that homosexuality is a REAL thing... I mean, I believe that people think they're born being homosexual, but I don't think that's true. It's not genetic. If it was genetic, there would be no homosexuals left, because they can't. breed. Also, I've read places in the Bible that speaks against homosexuality.

So I have my reasons for being against gay marriage/homosexuality, but I'm not homophobic or anything stupid like that.

i have a FEW bi's/gays at my school.
SO many people are grossed out by it, and then they outcast them.

seriously.
im ALL for it.
i'm straight..but i dont see whats so terribly wrong with liking the same gender as yourself!!!

when people are like.
ITS IN THE BIBLE! HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG!
well..
you DID NOT write the bible.
you DID NOT know jesus.
you DO NOT have a right to change people for how they are.

and besides..its NOT YOU who's that way.
why the hell should you care?

k.
so.
i think gay marriage everywhere should be allowed.
:D

^ wow you took the words from my mouth

well more of my opinions about gay/bi/lesbian marriage:

i think you should just let that person be, and even if it's not the right thing to do, love is love. and everyone deserves to be happy and treated equally even if they're not the same sexual orientation as the rest of us. i think that gay/bi/lesbian marriage should be legal because everyone deserves a chance to be happy. love is love. why let sexual orientations stop two people who love eachother, from being together/happy?

It doesn't matter to me.. I say let people be who they want to be! So I guess that means I'm for it?

I think you're more of, "I respect it." then I'm for it.

I have some people *coughcbchat* who make fun of my sexual orientation but I don't mind xD beacuse I know they're just joking around and that they don't mean it. Besides, it's not constant or anything.

I'm bi, and the thing iz. It's human nature to be eithr gay, bi, or straight. The human species has not been the only species to exhibit homosexual love. Many animals have as well. ANd from a religious standpoint. Love thy neighbor as thyself. We all sin, we all make mistakes, we're all not perfect. So by implying that making the entire world straight would make the world a better place... *wrrrrrrrong*... but don't get me wrong, I respect those of you who belive this way because, I would NEVER judge you.
Some might say the Bible condmens this (homosexuality), some might say it doesn't... but ultimately, what right do we have to judge someone... none? all?... we live in a world with a vast differnce of humans and ideals, and thoughts, and persepectives, which what makes this world so interesting... I think it only becomes a problem when people assume the role of God, and try to implement their own ideals unto others through malicious acts... such as violence and etc.. In short you can't help whom u fall in love with. We're all sinners, and have sinned, but if we believe, our sins WILL be forgiven, Christians aren't suppose to wear gold, or eat shellfish, and do a lot of things a many of us do anyways... in short here's a quote i think that should be considered, this is in response to someone mentioning the levicticans chapter in the bible condemning homosexuality..."It just seems to me that when Jesus made the new covenant, he set the old rules of a vengeful and wrathful God aside. He himself did not speak of homosexuality, but he did preach love and forgiveness, and urged us not to judge our fellow man but embrace him, so less let go of the hateful and outdated ideas, and keep the true message of Jesus, love thy neighbor as thyself and love God." - Patrik Ian-Polk... and that's just what I'd like to think is right, I dont' deny or reject any oppositions, but this is what makes sense to me... so hopefully I did get a point across ;).

Are you gay?
No. So how would you know its genetics or not?
I highly doubt you've done scientific human research on homosexuals, so clearly, your statement is invalidated, due to your lack of proof to back it up. Try again.

This whole gay issue is due to homophobes and religion.
First of all, we're not all religious. Some people just don't believe in that. So why are you religious devouts quoting out of the Bible and spreading it around? You guys keep saying "It's a sin!", but you know what? Some people don't believe in god, therefore, there are no sins. Man! Religion is taking over the world.

Excuse me? Are you telling me that my sexuality is not real? How can you say that, you don't have any idea what if feels like to look at a girl and realize you like it, feeling sickned, and knowing it shouldn't be that way. If it wasn't real, why the hell would I pretend to feel like that? To be discriminated? To be hated by many religious groups?

Even if it is not genetic, there are things like genetic mutations and things that are not affected by genetics at all. Besides, we aren't clones of our parents. We have things that we like and they don't, so...why not gender?

Um, I can breed just fine. I can get some gay guy to give me some sperm, and techinacally two gay people would have mated. Our 'parts' still work, we are still peopple. -.-''

And okay, so the bible...a book says that. Good for the bible. I'm not religious. I don't give a damn what they say, and besides, it says a man can not sleep with a woman the way he does with a man. Last time I checked, I am not a man. Besides, gay guys sleep pretty diffrently with woman from how they do with men, lol.

And being against two people in love because of their gender IS homophobia, I'm sorry, but it IS. Homophobia isn't just about marigge.

I accept gays as they are and people shouldn't try to make them heterosexual again. They can't help who they like.

I think that gay / lesbian people are great.
Most of them are the nicest people you'll ever meet.

I'm not going to lie to you, a lot of young people today say they're gay, or bi, to impress others, or look cool.
At least where I live, they do.

I kiss girls, but that doesn't mean I'm a lesbian, or that I'm bi.

A few of my best friends are gay, and I love them for it.
