Um usually the guy says will you go out with me...or...something similar like would you like to be more than friends...How you respond is up to you, obviously everyone reacts differently..And if you don't want to go out with him,you say,i'm sorry but i'd rather just be friends!

Well, I've been asked out twice, and the guy in both cases said something along the lines of "I really like you a lot, wanna go out for a movie?" I said yes to both of them, and eventually we became bf/gf. It feels quite flattering to be asked out. Especially if it's a guy that you like. If you don't wanna go out with them, just say something like "I like you too, but only as a friend. So, let's just go out to that movie as friends"

It feels like an ice cream sundae with lots of whipped cream and peanuts and peppermint sticks for decoration.

It feels like an ice cream sundae with lots of whipped cream and peanuts and peppermint sticks for decoration. ^yep, pretty much like that. Cept if it's someone you don't want asking you out. Then it feels like a wasp sting with a little guilt sprinkled on. QUOTE what does he say? how do u respond? waht do u say if u odnt wanna go out with him (1) He will usually say, "Would you like to go to _____ this weekend with me?" or "Would you like to go on a date with me this Friday?" or "Would you be my girlfriend?" <--Depending on how old he is lol, but in middle school that is all we said. (2) Easy, yes or no. sure or no thanks. That'd be fun or Not if my life depended on it. Take your pick. If you have any doubts, say no. That's a good lesson to learn early. But if you really like the guy and want to date him then by all means say yes. (3) If you DON'T want to go out with the guy, then tell him. Just say, "Ah, i'm sorry, but I have other plans" or "I'm sorry, thanks for asking, but I only see us as friends" or "No it's okay, i'm good." or "get away from me". Sadly, I 've had to use all of those. It really matters what kind of guy is asking you and how he asks, and what your relationship is already like with him. Remember, if he is some random guy from the street, you have every right to be short with him. And that should do it =) |

I've been asked out a number of times before...and sometimes, guys wouldn't even ask you directly. Once, it was through a friend, and it felt annoying..lol..
However, when the my boyfriend asked me out, I couldn't breathe..it was so awesome. |

Most guys are shy.Well thats because I`m really young. They ask someone to ask for you..or they right notes or something..or if they`re really shy..they ask online. If I didn`t want to go with someone..I would be like.."Sorry..but I don`t want a relationship now" or "Sorry.." and leave it at that.

if it's by someone you like,
well i imagine it's like your heart's pumping a thousand times per minute. but if it's by someone you don't like, well since that's happened to me before, it's as if someone stuck their booger on you. |

well, when my current boyfriend asked me out he said "cait, i like you a lot...will you be my girlfriend?" i was so happy/surprised because i didn't expect it at all [we were at the movies with our friends..kinda a double date] and i couldn't stop smiling.
i mean if you don't want to go out with the kid just tell him you don't like him like that and you'd rather be friends.. |

If it's by a boy that you really
like, your heart should start beating really fast like its going to pop outta your chest. Well, that's how it happened for me. XD |

the air gets knocked out of you. then your tongue gets all tied up..that's what happened to me so it took a long time before I responded. We were just sort of standing there. Then I said: "Okay. Fine. Sure." Then I walked away

they say something along the lines of asking your out and you say yes id love to or no. simple as that. sometimes its odd though. it wasn't that simple for us.... it was realy complicated, but I make everything complicated... :P being asked out... I have been asked out only once, and I turned them down. I lied and told them that I had a girlfreind already... she was pretty dissapointed, but i would have rather said that then say, "look, im just not attracted to you in any ways shape or form..." |

They say, "Will you go out with me?"
You react negatively, or positively. If you react negatively, you say, "No." |

There is no cookie-cutter way of asking someone out or how to refuse or accept. Just do what you feel comfortable doing. Anyway .. being asked out for me kind of puts me in a bad situation. Especially when it's from someone I don't like. I feel like I'm being forced to make a decision on the spot and when I ask for time, it really means that I'm unsure, therefore the relationship wouldn't be very sturdy.

1) What he says: Wanna go out with me? Will you be my girlfriend? Wanna go out sometime? etc...
2) I usually blush and nod or say of course. 3) If I don't wanna go out with them, I just say that I think he's a great friend but I don't see him in that way. |

it depends if its a guy u like or not..the guys whove asked me out i didnt like..so i felt really guilty and uncomfortable and freaked out a bit (the freak out was when one guy asked me out really weirdly) he was like...wanna go to the movies..and im like..whos going..and hes like...lets just say..you and me... >< that sounded really freaky
anyways..but there was one time when a guy i actually did like asked me out..hypothetically tho -___- he was like..what would u say if i asked u out right now.. and im like..i dont know...and hes like...entertain the question! and then he signed off (yeah it was online) i felt really fluttery and i was blushing ..but i eventually said no b/c he was such an a-hole..really hot tho =\ |
