Sometimes I say that being single is better, funner, etc.. but at the end of the day I sometimes find that my only reason for saying so is to make myself feel better.

I've found that, no matter what people say, most people would rather be in a relationship than not—with the exception of people who are freshly out of a long relationship.
I also don't think that being attached means one cannot have a good time, unless one's definition of fun is sleeping around with as many different people as possible. |

I'd rather be in a relationship. Sure - it's nice to have the freedom of being single. But without a relationship, my life would feel pretty empty.

it depends, i love my boyfriend. but sometimes the drama we go through makes me wish i was single. but i like being in a relationship because it makes me feel wanted, i always have someone to come home too.
single has its advantages because then im free to say what i want, and do what i want. but it still sucks around valentines day when i would see the happy couples....warms my heart but didnt stop me from wanting to through a rock at them |

Being single is easier - you can flirt and talk to as many people as you'd like without having anyone be jealous or get upset or anything. I, personally, would much rather be in a relationship. Not with just anyone, obviously, but it's nice to know that you have someone watching out for you and having somebody there for you no matter what. It's nice to be protected and know that someone cares for you unconditionally.

Being single...there's nothing bad about it. It only makes you feel bad since today's society pushes people to be w/ someone (ex: online dating). Don't push yourself, alright? The person for you will come around--so enjoy yourself while you're free! Being attached isn't all that great! You have to deal w/: drama, fights, disagreements, jealousy, etc...

I feel much better IN a relationship than I felt out of one. But it may just be me. I hated being lonely, but I guess now I feel a bit too obsessed.

It differs from person to person. I mean you have some people that don't like to be tied down in a relationship and then you have your others that are complete attention seekers and need to attention constatnly of the one they can find out of a bf/gf in a relationship. And then they love being in the relationship.

Even with the fact that everyone's opinion is different.. I feel completely lonely. I guess you could say I'd prefer to be single, because it's easier (& I'm also pretty young, 15), but I still would prefer to have a companion, someone close to keep life interesting.

Well, in all honesty, being single is actually good and bad. Being single enables you to enjoy things such as partying, seeing others ect. But this can often lead to bad things like: immaturity, lack of responsibility ect. This often leads you to wanting more, and less at the same time..
On the other hand. A relationship has many benefits, such as a stable enviorment, always someone to lean on or talk to. A safe sex? partner. Trustworthy friend. Which leads to maturaty, building of responsiblity....and so on and so forth. conclusion: Single-Fun,reckless, and yet empty Relationship: Fun, Stable, meaningful, helpful, safe |

Both has its benefits really. Being single allows you to experiment and to be free to do whatever you like. Being in a relationship allows you to learn how to love, and be loved in return. Being in a relationship teaches you how to appreciate another human being in an intimate way. Being single allows you to meet different people and choose the type that works thebest with you.
To me, I'd rather be in a relationship than not. I'm insecure and I like to have the security that you get from relationship. That is not saying that I don't enjoy being single. I've been single for over 1.5 years and I'm having fun being just friends with guys. |

uhh.. its a hard question.. my advice would be wait until your older.. though i am in a serious relationship and have been for a little over a year and i'm young.. i wouldn't trade it for anything.. but the truth is it's hard.. boys will be boys... no matter how great you think he is.. he's going to make you mad sometimes.. i've never had a really big fight with mine but i guess i'm just blessed with an awesome relationship and a awesome guy who i love so much.. but if you get lonely easy i would totally not date right now.. because he isn't always going to be able to be there for you when your so young..(with having so many rules and such from his parents right now) he'll be more avalible when you get older.. also if you can't see your self marrying this guy.. then why date him and get your heart broken.. save your tears and wait for the right guy =D

I`m single. At times its a good thing you don`t have to worry about another person feelings, you can do anything you want without having to worry if the other person is going to approve of it. But the bad thing is, you need someone to cuddle with, you miss the feeling of being loved... thats why i perfer "friends with benifits". You`ll get the cuddling you need with no strings attached.
