Hello everyone... I know I don't post much but I don't really have a lot of time but I figured you guys would be nice enough to help me out.
I've had this guy friend for a few years and I spent last night with him (for the first time). That was the first time I had seen him in a few months and everything was fun like it always is. Nothing happened between us cause I was waiting for him to make a move... not just flirting like I wanted him to kiss me or something.. cause we flirt all the time but it never happened. Anyways, on the way home today he started talking about his ex... he said that he still liked her and that she was his good friend but yet she wants nothing to do with him. It made me feel awful cause I just don't understand why he wanted to hang out with me if he still liked her and why does he flirt with me if he still has a thing for her. I'm really confused and sad... |

I knwo exactly how you feel, you feel disappointed huh?
 Anyways, sometimes I guess sometimes guys do things that to them isn't called flriting, where they make you laugh, pick on you, and notice you. Do you like him? If you do then be there by his side. Make him see you're better than her. Guys need a person to always be by there side. it's just how it is .. cause my ex fell for every girl that stood by his side .. </3 |

 You should definitely talk to him and explain what you're feeling and how his comments about his ex hurt you.

It seems to me that he just wants you as a friend. Typicly if someone has interest in someone else (Say he wanted you) they won't start talking about there ex.

Guys get very confused. Also, us boys can get dumb and not notice when girls like you like us. It's funny and yeah. I say don't worry, keep "flirting" with him and hang out with him a lot, try to get him to like you.

Thanks everyone...
I have a feeling that he just wants some ass haha... I laugh like its funny but its really not. But the thing is if he wanted it wouldn't he make a move instead of just flirting? That's what I don't get.. wouldn't he just get tired of the flirting around and just go for it? I really want to talk to him but then again I don't want to sound to pushy or anything like that. You guys know what I mean? I can't hang out with him that much he works and goes to school. Summer classes are a pain!! |

eh that happened to me too. but i letted him talk about his ex's/crushes. i was there listening to him & cried my heart out. but i was still there listening to him, & i gave him advice & helped him through. after like what? 3 girls he liked & i helped him with he liked ME. & we ended up 3 months together. all im saying is, dont be dissapointed yet. be there for him as a good friend. become his BESTFRIEND first, & make him realize your not JUST a bestfriend.
