Okee dokee I finally saw it tonight. Overall, it was mediocre I guess. Reeves played his character, Bob, just like all his other characters (with the exception of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, in which case there was a scene in this movie where he looks at himself in the mirror with the perfect opportunity to say, "Dude!" which never came ANYWHO), so meh.. Harrleson's was amusing at times, the intended comic relief.. Robert Downey Jr. is great, as he usually is.. Winona is still depth-less.. The story itself was interesting, although I don't think it was expanded upon enough (granted, I haven't read the graphic novel myself, shocking, I know), although the ironic ending was probably the best part of the movie. There was this other comic character, Freck, who was probably the most entertaining - the most addicted user of Substance D. XD.gif There were quite a few parts of the movie which were intended for humor that I didn't really find that amusing (i.e. when Downey's character buys a bike off some guys for $50, thinking he got a good deal because it was an 18-speed when it turned out to be significantly less), and just dragged on. The animation was really really neat, though. So that and the ending were the best parts. And maybe Freck's overdose.
