what would you do if you started liking your male friend? how would i know if he likes me and how should i express it?

okay i know exactly how you feel because this happened to me. twice. not to scare you, but the first time it was a complete failure. i like one of my guy friends a lot so i started to talk to people and some of them said that he might like me. so just out of the blue i went up to him one day and asked him if he would go out with me. well he was completly shocked and said no. he thought i was kidding at first. so yeah, don't go and ask him out. the second time this happened to me it was with another one of my guy friends. instead of asking other people, i hung out with just him instead of all of my friends like i usually did. i spent more time with just him and talked to him a lot on IM. sometimes i called him saying that i forgot to write down the homework for a certain class at school. I started dropping subtle hints here and there that i liked him. i started noticing the same kind of things from him. and then finally one day i told him that i like him for more than a friend and he said he felt the same way. now we are going out. hes been my boyfriend for 5 months. some people that were best friends with both of us we a little weirded out at first but they got used to it and things are great now.

Thats how it always happens for me. My boyfriend of four years was my friend first. I guess when I get close as a friend to a guy things usually ust prgress that way for me. I wouldnt personally wanna have a boyfriend who I hardly know! I say just take it easy, be patient, and see if his behaviour changes towards you. If he treats u lke just a friend, you will know. If he starts getting flirty and touchy and things...well thats a good sign.

Yea................. i liked one of my male frds..... i started to get hints that he liked me back...... for reassurance, i told one of my frds & asked along the lines of "do u think he likes me back from the way he acts around me?!" my frd told me that he thinks the guy does coz it seemed so obvious from what i've told him......

me and him hve been frds for 4 years. i kinda realized that as each year went by, we started to become closer........ in our final 2 years of high school we were in the same class, we were talking so much & got to know each other so well that i eventually started liking him....... because we shared same interests, felt comfortable around each other..... always had something to talk about.... no matter what we were doing if it was dead boring or something, we'd still make it hella fun...... seemed like he suddenly turned into my new best friend!!! I told him things that I would'nt tell others..... & he'd be serious about it too....... He was the kind of person who fitted perfectly in my checklist of the ideal bf.


Things could've gone perfect if it wasn't for our 1st year of University but oh wellz......


But yea............ how i noticed was that he started to be much more friendly than usual........... talked lot inside and outside of school, on msn......... whenever i came online, he'd pop up a msg everytime..... he neva used to do that..... asking me to hang out with him sometime for just casual chats & movies & stuff... inviting me over to watch movies at his house..... he made it a lil too obvious though......... i tried to drop hints to him that i liked him back too...... especially on the last 2 weeks before graduation....

if u want to drop hints too........ then go with the flow. since he's being more friendly than usual, u should too~ Like someone said before, see his reaction.... its easy to tell if he treats u just like a frd or likes u..... coz he might go red, stumble on words or go with the flow with u tooooo~
