The semester ended today, so some friends and I went to a local pizzeria for one last meal before we all part ways for the next three months. A friend of a friend joined us, because she had no one to eat with. So I went to pick up this girl, since it was raining and we had to drive to the restaurant. She had on a black hooded sweatshirt that said "Expatriate" on red capital letters, and a little red heart sewn onto the sleeve. And a black cocktail dress. It was pretty standard, although it had some sort of pink lacey stuff at the bottom. She said she wore it because she had it, and she could, which seemed good enough. And even though we were in a cheap pizzeria, the black cocktail dress just seemed to be what she should be wearing.

I just..simply like it. |

No she isn't. But I'll go on record stating that I'd be all over that if she a) wasn't graduating and b) wasn't, like, a good five inches taller than me.
I mean, any girl who wears a hooded sweatshirt with a heart on the sleeve and a black cocktail dress to a pizzeria is okay in my book. (Maybe it's just because I, too, have a black hooded sweatshirt with a heart—albeit pink—sewn onto the sleeve, I dunno. I don't have a black cocktail dress, though.) |

That's very cute.
But I'd prefer to see you in a cocktail dress. Or not. Sorry. |

Man. When I went to dinner with my friends before the end of the semester I just wore a denim jacket and jeans. Michael, you've made me painfully aware that I need to get an LBD.

This is something that some person would probably write a poem about.
It sounds so nice, so sweet and yet its just so simple. |

It was supposed to look like there was something under the dress. It was attached in that fashion. It looked pretty cool.

Aww, that's really cute. I like her mentality. She wears a little black dress to a pizzeria because she can.
...I could never imagine you in a little black dress. Or maybe I could if I tried hard enough. But it would still be a wee bit traumatizing. |

how tall are you? He's like 5'2or3. I'M probably five inches taller than him. All this time I thought I was average size, and now I find out I'm actually a giant. I have a "LBD", but I don't wear it very often. When you work every day you don't get much of an opportunity to dress up. |

Oh em gee, I'm taller than you by like..one inch.
A Cocktail dress and a hoodie that is so cool. I wish my parents would let me dress like that. They make me dress....normal. Fairly stupid question, and i'm not a real shoe-a-holic or anything but, did you see what shoes she was wearing? |
