Well, I don't usualy do too well with introducing myself......but i'll give it a shot.
I guess all you need to know are the basics. + Im 18 + Im female + I have a Xanga + I found out about this site, becuz a friend thought it could help me with photoshop To save me time and to save the boards from too many posts, I'll ask my first photoshop question here. How do I make my own brush? I'm not richest person so I only have Photoshop Elements 2.0 [if that helps you answer the question] |

I am pretty awesome with photoshop and I have been working with it for over a year now. I can send you the links that I remember using when I was beginning. They are awesome and can help you. I am not at home right now so I don't have the links but I will pm them to you later today. Oh, and I am also female and I turn 18 in less than two weeks. Well, nice to meet you. |

Thank you all for the warm welcomes and for the help.
Im not new to photoshop, I just usualy teach myself how to use it. However, sometimes thats not always the best way to learn, now is it? So, thats what leads me here. Plus, I heard that most of the people on these forums are pretty nice.  Thanks to your help, I was able to get the desired effect that I needed for my layout. I used your help to make a few brushes out of.....well, lets just call it a tenticle. Making it into a brush allowed me to change the color [using an overlay layer...I think thats what its called]. Anyway I appreciate the help. Here's what the layout looks like so far.  It's not done yet, but it's getting there. |

your design looks good as well. although i don't get the point of the things on the right side.. sorry if that offendes you but i tend to tell people my opinion of their layouts everyday.. anyway Welcome to createblog. I'm Holly. nice to meet you. You should have downloaded photoshop cs2 from adobe.. its only a trial thing but its better than nothing. oh thumb your images as well so you don't stretch out anything..
