That makes no sense at all. Why would he get a lighter punishment for starting something than trying to disprove an absurd accusation?

They were saying in the chat that his topics wouldn't get closed because the mods like him. And we all know that certainly isn't true. Thus, for him to make a topic and have it disproved doesn't actually hurt anything. If nothing else, it was in your defense, for being a good staff team.

Yes, I wasnt I'm talking about his spam in that topic. I miscounted the number of spam topics I thought he made without realising it was the anarchy topic. I went over every last spam topic that was deleted and he did spam in others more than once. I stand by the decision for his punishment and if James would like to contact me about this issue he is more than welcome. But I won't go back and forth about it. I have other things to attend to right now.

at the end of the day, i made one topic to disprove the theory that the mods like me too much to close my topics (stop and marvel at the concept). i posted in one (i THINK, i couldnt swear to it) other topic that was wholly spam.

i would tak to mona or kiera, but its an utter waste of time, and anyway, by the time a decision was made, the suspension would have run out. was sammi right, probably not. does it matter, not really, no. although actually, a pm conversation may be fun.

im posting anyway, so what does it matter. i have no intention of allowing myself to be inconvenienced by anything as trivial as the rules.

Oh, and before anyone starts in on how i dont think the rules apply to me becuase 'im james', let me prempt that with a healthy f**k off. i know the rules apply to me, i just dont really care

If you want people to give up their crap "leniency" stance, then by all means, but sensible in your efficiating!
When multiple people have valid objections to something, consider them. Don't continue tightening the punishment. I'm not saying that your job should be determined by the opinion of the masses, however, when actual logical reasoning is presented, you should give it fair chance, ESPECIALLY when you've DELETED ALL THE EVIDENCE!

I've re-adusted his punishment because James came forth civally to me in his defense and agreed with his take on the matter.

We all know James wasn't technically suspsended. And we've all repeated multiple times that that actually makes very little difference as post disablement is practically the same thing. I wasn't calling you tyranical, however, you've managed to ignore every point I've made, so it's awfully hard to tell. And anyway, I was going by what James told me, and that was really all. I don't just make things up either.

And actually quite a few people, even mods, thought James was suspended. I needed to make that clear once again. As vast majority involved weren't suspended. Some had their post disabled and some were put on mod preview.

No, there's a difference between not addressing me and disregarding everything I say. I say he didn't post more than one spam topic, because the anarchy one didn't count, and you continue to say he did, until Shauna repeats it. If people say he was suspended, it's because he may as well have been. Once again post disabling = suspension for all intensive purposes. As it is, yes, I was involved thanks. I was on the phone with James as all of this occured, so when he asked me to PM Sammi, because he thought he was suspended, she informed me he wasn't, and he took up the PMing from there. As for continuing, I don't particularly care to either, so whatever. It's still ridiculous.
