No. Not quite yet. _unsure.gif So here's the story. I've been going to Barbizon Modeling/Acting school for about almost a year now, and I just recently graduated as a Model. But, just a few days ago there was mail from Barbizon about this Acting Program. Being a big fan of acting, I took this an a good oppurtunity. But the thing is that it costs 295 for the registration and 60 dollars a week. (On Saturdays) Keep in mind that this isn't an agency, but is a training school to prepare you.

* * *
I've spent a lot of money on Modeling already, and my grandmother told me that there aren't many asian actresses out there. This could prepare me for a chance of a lifetime, or it can go completely downhill.

What do you guys think? Should I take the class? I'm stuck. pinch.gif

If you feel you'd like to become an actress, by all means, do it- it would probably be a fantastic experience. But really, if you have any doubts at all about acting, or you're not into it, I wouldn't go too deeply into it- number one, it's expensive, and number two, in an acting career, you pretty much only get the money if you're the tippy top.

If acting's your dream, go for it.
It could be your future.
But then, the cost, time, and choice is all up to you.

I think you should!
If you can do modeling, why do acting!
you're certainly pretty enough, and why not give it a try....it would be a dream come true for me....

I guess you guys are right. Recently, the lady who accepted me into the Barbizon Modeling program called to ask if I wanted the spot in the acting class. My grandmother said that they say that to everyone just to get their money. Should I wait until the time is right, or take the chance now?

Jane, I say take it now. If you're positive and up to it, go for it! If you don't really like acting, then why waste your money?

^ If I had the choice, I would be in Hollywood right now. cool.gif I think I'm going to go for it. I don't know when but sometime this year. Which course should I take: There's one coming up this Saturday. Do you think it's too soon?

But although many people strive to become actresses or actors, the majority fail. But some of them get lucky, like Vince Vaughn, and get offered a small role in a movie. Then they become "big" actors.

edit//
man, I wanna be a model. :(
just 4 more inches to grow.

^ You don't have to be tall. I know some models that can model...they just sit most of the time. _unsure.gif

I can tell my grandmother's getting a bit sick of my begging. So I think I'll give it a week or until the next time the scholl calls.
