tahts weird..i know that our district (blue valley) is the number one district for schools and has the most money, but we didnt make it.

Same here.

My old high school was one of those private schools with big time money and always had kids going to Harvard from there.
Weird how things work wink.gif

Oh- girl who's going to go to Norcross- we are already displeased with the new principal because he's decided to add yet another 5 minutes to the beginning of the school day. As if it wasn't bad enough that they added 10 last year. We do not need 15 minutes more school time now than we did my first two years. I am not appreciative. I mean really, when the hell am I supposed to sleep??!

But other than that, he seems nice. I've already talked to him more than I ever did the old one, which is interesting since I had her for three years and we haven't even so much as had registration yet for this year. For all the alien woman's going on about how much she loves and supports music, she's not the one who showed up at band camp and shook hands with everyone, and actually carried on conversations.

I don't know why I'm telling you this. It's really just a rant disguised as something helpful.

I got too lazy to look for it. My school is allright, I didn't expect us to be up there.

Suprisingly there are a lot of Texas high schools on there.

yea my h.s. where i moved as a senior BUT THIS whole 100 best schools is B.S. i know way better schools in NY then this piece of Sh*T i went too ....this list is incorrect and invalid ....how far does the board of ed have to look at schools .
73 | Miller Place | Miller Place | N.Y. | 3.032 | 1

my 2nd school
431 | New Hyde Park | New Hyde Park | N.Y. | 1.705 | 3.1 - THIS School is way better ...and has higher standards. more alumni in this school go to better colleges add ivy league ... compared to miller place where alumni`s go to 2nd tier colleges .

This honestly is very inaccurate ....don`t believe this list kids....i`m feeling this list bases on stereotypes .. i swear.

It's not in the first 100, but I don't think it's counted as a public high school even though you don't have to pay to attend. :\

Hunter? I asked my little brother and he said that it is. But then again, he's only a 7th grader.. He wouldn't know that much..
Hunter wasn't on the top 1200 list at all, but neither was Stuy or any of the other great schools of NYC (with the exception of Townsend). I only saw Forest Hills, Townsend, LIC High, Tech, 'Dozo, and a few other ones.

If Brooklyn Tech gets to be 411th on the list, mine should be 300-something! Seriously. Tech isn't such a great school. It's like.. 4th or 5th on the SHSATs.

No. But then again Lowell High School is always underrated even though its athletic program is top notch and its cirricular activites exceed even my expectations.

oo gyea btw 1've been too a few different schools and they werent there too but they suck. boo to billerica memorial and edison tech in rochester ny.

I'm starting to really resent people measuring the quality of a school by its athletic program.
