stretched out comments section Options

when i try and use a layout that has purposely been made skinnier, my comments section stretches out enormously. I tried deleting the images, but that didn't help. the about me section and the general section stays skinny but my comment section just wont. how do i make it just as skinny as the rest of my layout?
