I agree it is plain, but i can tell you put some time into the effects on the text.
i wouldn't have done red for a background though =\ Maybe if you add a gradient, a border, and a texture it would be a bit more "exciting". You still did good though

idk.. you didnt really do much, just colored text with glow. i think you could do more, like add a texture over it all, add some fancy brushes, or more notes, a gradient? a picture in the bacground? anything really

Ok, really plain -which is all I hate. The text is sorta ok, but it looks like a sort of faded stroke on the text. Add some brushes try making variations, I don't like that background. (*really just my reference.)
