So today was my first day of work, as of another season of it. And yesterday I had surgery on my back, and I didn't have many restrictions, besides lifting.

And I have an outdoor job so I never know what I'm up to, or going to do. Well one of the guys I work with decided to help me out a bit, and after someone got done talking with my mother she came over to me and was like "hun your not suspto be lifting, you had surgery yesterday" and he was standing right there.

So from then on he wouldent let me lift, or do my job. And I felt capable of doing it, and didn't want to make a big scene. But I like the kid so was glad to have his company, but he just kept getting angry that I wouldent let him pick up the heavy stuff himself. It's nothing but he just kept calling me stubborn, is that a bad thing? Am I going to be on his bad side now because I don't want to be. Or could it possibly just be a joke seeing were really close friends, and he has some idea i like him. It could be him just being nice, but he would get angry when i would do it myself.

Oops! Your double posted! But it's okay, a mod will manage that. :)

I think his actions favor the welfare of your health. I am not sure if he likes you but he cares about you. He gets angry because if you lift heavy objects yourself it might increase the chance of injuring your wound again, and he wouldn't want to see you hurting yourself.

No offense, but I think you are more stubborn than your friend.
