anyway. i used the basic code from http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82699 waaay back, before i was a member.

i kinda like it, but i kinda dont. get me?

anyway.. i kinda want my LJ to look. good. okay, that was vague. i see in some LJs that there are texts somewhere in the page that link to the info, friends, and other places, instead of using the normal navigation tab thing....

and yes, i just switched to a sponsored+ account, so i really have to change my layout so it'll look good ;_;

It's not that vague, I understand what you mean. But since I'm not quite sure what kind of layout you're going for..

Here's my suggestion.. There are several livejournal layouts available for use here:

The reason I submitted mine is so people would have something to work off of; most people don't like when their stuff gets modified. I don't mind at all. There are eleven layouts in there by me, and you may use the code as a skeleton to make whatever you want, change the images, change the colors, whatever. If you need help explaining the code, feel free to ask me for clarification.

Now, since you have a paid account, once you've perfected/gotten an understanding of how S1 layouts work, I suggest that you learn how to make custom styles. Doing this, you can literally make your journal look however you want with no limitations. Here are some tutorials on making custom styles:

However, I can say that when I was learning it would have been TONS easier if I had something that I could start out with and modify, and I know the code can be confusing until you figure it out, so that's why I'm offering.

hmm.. okay. tweaked with the code a bit because sponsored+ accounts need different HTML things >.O anyway. my LJ looks okay enough.. i have to make the entries move to the left a bit >> http://kawaii-shuai.livejournal.com

and my friends page is being weird O_O and the header wont show either T_T

To make the entries work, set all page layout styles to generator. (edit: Oh, you have Generator.. Hmm..)

And everything you have for LASTN_WEBSITE.. Copy it all three times for FRIENDS_WEBSITE, CALENDAR_WEBSITE, and DAY_WEBSITE.

o.o; anyway..... that confused me so i decided to make a new layout thingie 8D;;; and i found out one thing........ sponsored+ accounts have different CSS codes O: so i am even more confused T_T;
