As a few may know from other posts, I have been having an on and off friendship with my friend, Dean. We don't talk as much since we don't have classes together, and recently, I heard some more stuff that really pisses me off. If they are all true, I will probably never talk to him again. After all, why show respect for someone who lied to me during the time when we were willing to open up to each another, right?
Right now, I'm ignoring him and he doesn't have a clue why. Even though everyone thinks that I should at least talk to him about it one more time, I'm not sure if I should. After all, how am I to tell apart the truths and lies? If you want to know what exactly happened, tell me in your comments, okay? Anyway, he knew that I have liked him ever since the beginning of the school year. The frustrating thing is that he has past experiences that make him not truly interested in any relationship (which collides with the reason why I'm ignoring him). But he does stuff and says stuff that makes me wondering whether or not he likes me. From my friends and my point of view, he probably does, but he doesn't know it or he's still not sure about the whole deal of a relationship. One thing I dislike is his jealousy. Like even if it's not something big, and he tries to hide it, it still shows. Like about my stalker, who I dislike (related to my previous topics), is thinking of asking me to prom. It's a definite "no", and yet, Dean is worrried and would do anything to make sure the guy knows. He wants the dude crushed and if he was to kill himself or anything, he wouldn't mind that it happens. So what I'm trying to say is that whenever I seem to be more friendly with someone, he doesn't like it. Despite the fact that he knows that I still like him. Like one of my best friends and I, we have known each another since grade seven. We hug at times, and once, I was leaning on him while he hugged me as we sat on the floor. But once Dean came around the corner, my best friend pratically jumped, took his hands off me and moved out of the way. I'm confused. He does and says stuff that makes me fall head over heels even more, and his 'jealousy' makes me ponder where on earth our status now stands. I think I would've been better off not knowing whether or not he has a date for prom. I told myself that most likely he will, so then I don't have to worry that much over it. Like he will get a date or go with his girlfriend (he doesn't have a girlfriend, but asusming that he will find one or something). But then on the day he warned me about the stalker, who apparently goes up to him to talk about me (awkwardness! since the stalker likes me, but i like dean and dean knows it), when we were all talking (though i was trying to ignore him), guess what does he do? So it was another of my two best friends, him, & I. He then turns to one of my best friends and says that he doesn't have a date and is going to single for prom. He wasn't really happy, and my best friend said that we are all going alone, too. Like our dates (my best friend & I; my other two best friends - together as "dates"), aren't really dating, but we pretend each another are dates for the fun of it. So in reality, we are all going alone. After knowing that, he goes, "yea" and leaves. He doesn't even look back or say bye. ![]() |
