Help! I don't know how to get rid of the default Xanga links that appear under my Xanga skin for submission to CB. Can anyone give me the right code for it?
Thanks in advance...
Kitty

<h1>Date here!</h1>
<p>Just a very simple table style layout. This pic was originally for a layout contest in an rpg game but I thought I'd rather turn it into something for create blog. It's simple, I know, but hopefully it's ok.</p>

Put this code into your style sheet:

CODE
hr, table.footer TD, table.left, td.mainleft,
table.navigation, table.search,
#SearchBar1_pnlYouAreHere, .spritead {
/* removes the original modules */
display: none;
}

Sure!

Do you know how to use div layers? That could solve your blog problem.

Yes I can do divs. How would it solve it? I've never really mixed my divs and my tables hehe

Get rid of the whole "date here" stuff (that whole area) - do whateer it takes... removing data cells and what not.

You can get rid of the <html> tags - Xanga doesn't require them.

Put an open ended div layer at the very end of your code. Use Margin-left and Margin-top attributes to position your blog in the space of the former "date here" stuff.

Ex:
CODE
<div style="overflow: none; width:##px; margin-top: ##px; margin-left: ##px;  ">

Thing is though, as it's all centered, the position of the div would have to vary depending on the size of your screen. I could get it to work in say, 1024x768, but then it would mess up in 800x600.
Plus, if I get rid of a cell, there won't be a space still there for me to put the div in. I guess I could remake the whole thing using divs, but the table works quite nicely really.
Hmmmm.
Thanks for your help.
