The peace and harmony of rain Options

Having (finally) finished mastering a DVD for a professor's lecture, I am currently sitting in a study area of my university's library, waiting for the professor to come. There is a massive thunderstorm outside. My library has an open, central spiral staircase granting access to all five levels. This atrium is topped with an arched glass roof.

Sitting here, I've found that the sound of the rain hammering the roof, as well as the flashes of light in the background, have a peaceful effect. It's very rhythmic and relaxing. Today was what most would call a dreary day, but I've always liked cloudy, even stormy days—the sense of impending rain builds a palpable tension, and when the rain finally comes, it's with a soothing release of stress. It's been a long week, but I'm quite delighted with the outcome.
