Adobe Indesign Options

I have no idea why this is not working. I installed it from an Adobe Creative Suite CD my friend gave me. I didn't have a serial number since I didn't buy it but it still should have worked. So I then tried downloading it from Limewire, but nope, still didn't work. I just finished downloading the 30-day trial version from adobe.com and everything installed properly but whenever I open it, I get the exact same error message. Usually, there is the image screen that pops up when the program is loading but that doesn't appear either. I bet there's something wrong with the registry keys, but I'm not certain if that is the problem or how I would go about fixing it. Here is the error:


And this is really urgent because I need this program to work on my yearbook otherwise, I'm screwed. So please help.
