compatibility between internet explorer and firefox, what code is not working? |

right i gotta problme everything works fine in firefox but when i come to use IE it doesnt seem to show my comment box/ comment display or the scrolling text??

Don't use "font-color:xx;", use color: xx; for the color of the text?
Or maybe it's the fact that you have the style tags inside of a DIV? And are using ID's rather than classes? Also, it's best to keep your style "position: x; font-family: x; et cetera" out of the DIV tags. i;ve just managed to do a few things and i;ve found its only the comment scroll box im having the problem with the rest i;ve managed to work out so it works on both IE and firefox
Do you know if its possible to get a comment scrollbox in IE? or is it just a firefox thing? |

Yes, it does work.
The reason why I suggested you clean up your coding, is because it would eliminate it being the cause of the problem..and.. Placing your style tags, and the coding, inside a DIV isn't really a good thing.. Also, I don't seem to understand why you have a DIV under the name of "comment scrollbox" since..it wouldn't control the actual comments--the class "comments" right at the bottom of your who i'd like to meet does. And I come again to say, that the comment coding being inside that DIV may be it... :/ |
