It's very simple, and mostly temporary. I got sick of looking at the maroon layout, but I haven't had much layout inspiration lately (well, not for ME anyhow!).

The simplicity is appealing, and the content is good too. I don't see that shade of brown being the best color to match the gray, but it doesn't look bad either. The banners are very creative and original. The site overall is great.

I see rust orange too, but it's not bad.. I like the minimalistic look, and overall it looks really clean and nice. :D

I changed the rust to a lighter blue... tell me if that looks better or worse?

I think I liked the rust orange better, but maybe if either color was darker? Hmm.. Yeah, I think a darker shade might work better.
