This past year, my family took a vacation to Aspen, Colorado. As we were standing on top of a mountain, taking in the absolutely breathtaking scenery, my dad made a comment.
"You know, I feel so much closer to God here than at the temple." I couldn't help but agree with this statement. I'm sorry for starting another religion thread, but I don't think I saw a topic like this. What do you feel? Do you feel more spiritual reading out of a prayer book at a church or temple, or just being surrounded by nature? |
