CB3 Redesign Contest


Overview
This is it! The contest you’ve all been waiting for! As all of you know, Createblog’s recent launch of version 3 has been met with both praise and criticism. Many have been praising the new look for its simplicity and minimalism. However, we've also heard complaints that it can be too "skeletal" or plain. Since we’re a community driven site, we’re taking your opinions into consideration and launching the “CB3 Redesign Contest.”

This means anyone and everyone will have an opportunity to completely redesign the next look of createblog.com.

Summary
Site redesign with graphics + code

Prize
The designer with the winning design may choose from the following:
- Motorola SLVR
- Sony PSP
- iPod Nano

Design Requirements
- Must be compatible with all resolutions greater or equal to 800x600. (IMPORTANT: if this requirement is not met, your submission will be disregarded altogether!)
- Must include four web pages:
  • Home page
  • Layouts browse page
  • Script browse page
  • Download page
- Must include all the features already present. May include things you see in the "download" page but currently not in the "browse" page. For example, you may include the view + fav count.
- The Home page must have a section where the community competes to get their work to display. For example, in CB2, it was the banner. (i.e. a featured layout.)
- The overall look is completely up to you!

- we may not pick a winner if no entries are suitable.

Tips
- Clean & crisp look
- Good navigation system
- Not too graphic intensive
- For more tips, Google is your friend
- Remember: Although we’re giving you a blank slate, we expect a certain level of quality.

Legal Stuff
CreateBlog.com will acquire ownership of the winning design by assignment of copyright. By submitting a design for entry in the competition, you acknowledge that you made the design, are the rightful owner, and that the design does not violate any copyright.

...yes theyre serious. it's for a lot of work as well so it seems well deserved.
