didnt we at one point introduce the idea of periodic name changing sessions?

what happened to that? and can we have another one?

Changing names is a logistical nightmare, and creates problems of identity (i.e. it's hard to keep track of who is who when names are changed en masse). If I recall, the staff made a decision not to have an en masse name change again.
