do what you think is right.
but i personally wouldn't go up to his gf and tell her that he wants to be with you, that's going to cause possibly more friction between the both of them, she might start to think that something's going on. |

The answer is NO, don't. If he breaks up with her because of problems *they* may be having, fine. But not only is cheating on someone bad, but I'm not so sure you should be with him right after they break up anyway. Let *him* make the decision on whether or not be with his current girlfriend, give it a little time, then proceed with the smoochies.
