Hi,
How do I collapse comments on livejournal? Here's an example: http://www.livejournal.com/users/dizzyglitters/88352.html How do I make it so that the comments don't show anymore? |

that's not really an option you can create.
livejournal will "collapse" replies to an original comment if the number of comments exceeds to another page. so with that being said, that will only happen if you receive alot of comments. |

is there a way to prevent them from collapsing as I'm reading them? It's a pain to have to open each one individually.

^I don't think there is a way with a free account since you aren't able to customize your comments page. But you can just click the link that says "thread" to view several at once - it's still a lot of clicking, but you don't have to view each individual comment.
