Well, I guess I don't know where to start. I'm 15 and I'm not sure if I am pregnant. I've read up on thign that talked about "spotting" blood int he underwear. Which hole does the blood come from... All I mainly want to do is comtinue my life the way it is. I've worked so hard to get this far. And I'm doing it all for the children that I planned to have in the future. I currently have a SERIOUS flu. IS that somehow related to the prgnancy?... plz help me! I know it sounds wrong, but I don't think I'd mind having a miscarriage... any ideas?

It's not like you can decide to have a miscarriage..you can decide to have an abortion.

I guess I can't really offer any valuable advice on this since I've never been in this situation before and I'm grateful for that, but you just gotta look deep down and do whatever you know in your heart is right.

First off - breathe.

Get yourself a pregnancy test. I've never been an advocate of "guessing" about these things. Chances are the flu has absolutely nothing to due with pregnancy, same could be said about the blood spotting. In fact, when I was pregnant with my son I never once spotted.

There are a lot of options out there if it turns out you are pregnant. Most importantly, take care of yourself both physically and psychologically. Go take a test if you seriously think you might be pregnant. And if that proves positive, get a second opinion (test) from a physician. Then go from there.

OK, I guess you're right... btu I've juss been holding back on taking the test, becuz I was so afraid of the results... My boyfriend and I ALWAYS have had protected sex, btu now I end up as a statistic. I guess i HAVE to go find out if I'm pregnant or not sometimes, btu still... can miscarriages be caused by taking certain pills, or being roughly beaten in the *stomache area* I know that must seem grotesque! But I am desperate!

Oh whoa.... I don't mean to pry, but I really wouldn't recommend doing anything to intentionally cause a miscarriage. That isn't me judging you, it's being both realistic and cautionary. Not only might it *not* work, but you can seriously hurt your body, not have a miscarriage and do something seriously wretched to an unborn child. (No, I'm not getting into any type of abortion vs prolife thing here, just being practical).

You should know that when you decide to have sex, you decide to potentially deal with this type of scenario. I appreciate that you are practicing "safe sex" but regardless, I think you are being way too hasty on this.

And I repeat what I posted earlier - you have options. Don't go taking pills or what not because you are afraid, because that is what's really happening here. Don't get stuck in the 'better not to know' state of mind because that just might prolong the enivetable.

Take a test. Start from there.

to tell you the truth, me and my girlfriend are in the same shoes that you and your boyfriend are in. We're scared that she will gets pregnant. She's only 16. Now she's been ignoring me. She doesn't want to see me or talk to me because i dont' know what's wrong with her. I just wish that we could do this together but I don't know. Don't ignore your boyfriend, he's in it too and i think it's fair to let him know. It will make you more scare if you don't have him by yourside...like you are in this alone. I suggest going to the doctor because the pregnant test sucks! The last time she had her peroid was Febuary 12 and now she still doesn't have her peroid yet and we're both very scared. But the tests said she's not pregnant. But either ways, you guys have to be responsible for your actions and take it as adults. Only kids run away.... soo don't be scared and depressed, maybe the weather is changing and you're getting sick...that's all? whatever happens good luck to both of you guys. wink.gif

Yeah, I agree, just take a test. None of us here can actually tell you if you are or not. If you don't think that you can pay for it, then there are free pregnancy tests offered at Planned Parenthood, but I think you have to make an appointment. And yeah, also include your boyfriend. I'm sure you two are probably scared, but you should be rational. Don't try to 'kill' your baby (that is if you are pregnant) by taking drugs, etc just because you're scared. There are options that you should look into. But yeah, definitely start with taking a test before you jump to any conclusions and then decide from there.
