lol...you dont have to have a mirror to put in a tampon.... lol... well i prefer tampons... you cant even feel then and you get used to putting them in after a while... i even use them to sleep in be3cause everything i used pads they leaked, or they wouldnt work.. so my vote is definately for tampons.

I ABSOLUTLEY WILL NOT WEAR A PAD..Unless it's at night. All the blood gets all over the place so you're like..Forced to wake up feeling like you're wearing a diaper that's wet.

I started to use Tampons awhile ago and now i can't use pads, it feels icky to me.

Tampons do NOT break the hymen, therefore if you use them you'll still be a virgin, they don't go that far up, and the hymen is very flexiable, so even if it did hit it, the tampon would not break it. :)

OMG, TAMPONS ARE SENT FROM HEAVEN!! I had my first period at late 13 (kinda late I know, I'm glad tho, gave me much mreo timeto enjoy life WITHOUT periods ) and I put on a pad that my mom bought for me a couple years back jus in case...it was horrible...it was like wearing a diaper but worse...I ahve clear memories about what diapers are like cause I'mr eally really bad about wetting my bed and wans't able to stop till when I was like 7-8...anwyay, as I was saying, I hate pads soooooo much....once you sit down you feel like you never want to get up again and you have this vision in your head of like all theblod and stuff you are sitting on...ewwww...anwyay, so ya, the first few times you put in tampons it hurts, I know, but it's really really worth it, jsut keep trying, a little at a time, everyitme you have a period, it'll only take a few tiems and then you'll master putting it in and it's like your not even having a period...I'm nto joking..sometiems I forget I'mwearing mine and leave it in too long and ya...kinda a mess, but tha'ts not the point..WEAR TAMPONS!!!!!

I actually thought the same thing. Like I heard that if you never had sex with a guy and you're scared when a guy puts its penis to your vagina. The girl gets all scared, so to try it out, put a tampon through your private spot. So when they said that, I thought that means it's your time to lose your virginity hehe.

wow..i got my period in 5th grade...and i was the only gurl with it too..but i was scared to death to use tampons at first but after a while thats all i used...but at night wear a pad..

wha'ts wrong with wearing a tampon at nigth? I do it all the time...I can't stnd pads, they feel yucky, the blood sometiems leeks through and that IS yucky, plus I mean, hmm....I forget my last point oh well, you get the idea..USE TAMPONS!!

pish posh, tampons are only uncomfertable the first few tiems you put them in, and once they are in, you cna't feel them, I'm not exagerating..the only tiem when ou can feel them and they get a little uncomfy is when they need to be taken out and changed..which I mean, it expected

and oh ya, if you are afraid of using tampons casue you think the string will break (my biggest worry at first) than FEAR NO MORE, THE STRING WILL NOT BREAK!! I do no exagerate. the first time I acutally got hte tampon all the way in, I put it in so badly it was too uncomfy to wear so I decided to jsut take it out and try again, well, as you might know if you wear tampons, if you take em out rihgt away it's really hard, cause htey don't have any moister nad thye are sitll really big, so I had to really really tug...and I was seriusly totally PARANOID that the string was goign to break..I mean half way thoruhg I prayed to god (I'm an athiest) to pelase forgive my sins and let me take out hre stinking tampon and NOT BREAK THE STRING. lol, ya, pretty stupid I know, but nawyays, it came out fine, I put on a pad and waited a little while for more moister to come back then I stuck in another, smaller one and it worked perfect, there is notihng to be afraid of, you'll thank you once you put your first one in properly! it's liek your not even having a period!!
