I'm in a really stuck situation, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Here goes:

People involved are:
Me
Girl S
Guy K

I've know Girl S since grade 10. But we didn't get to really know each other since grade 11, which was last year. Anyway, Girl S likes Guy K a lot. And Guy K cares for her a lot, but they're not dating or anything. Girl S introduced me to Guy K last year. And we MSNed, and eventually got to be friends. And right now we're quite close friends. He would give me hugs and comfort me when I don't feel too great. And we've been out to have ice cream before. But we don't like each other past a friend. We had that talk already...we decided that we're better off as clsoe friends. I'm just more comfortable with him that way. And I'll admit it...we're a bit touchy feeley but we're not together.

However, lately Girl S thinks that Guy K doesn't pay enough attention to her. And guess who she puts the blame on? Me. She would MSN me and ask me if I was talking to Guy K cuz he wasn't replying her...and usually that's the case, but then I don't have the heart to tell her that, so I usually tell her that he's not. But she can see through that. And this just builds her suspicion of me liking Guy K, and Guy K liking me back and that I'm just trying to take him away from her. But we both told her the truth, and whether she believed it or not, we don't know. I'm leaning on the no side.

Anyway, yesterday I was bored in French class and wrote a nonsensical note. With stuff like "I'm BORED" and "I want CANDIES now" and "Ice cream is GOOD". And for laughs I gave it to Guy K so he could be entertained in English class. And he read it in English class, and put it in his pants pockets. And then he had Chem with Girl S. Girl S was playing with him, poking him and all that. And somehow she managed to rummage in his pants pockets and guess what she pulled out. The note that I gave him. And of course she took it the wrong way, and believed that I was really out to get Guy K from her.

And...she hasn't talked to me or Guy K since. And we couldn't get a hold of any of her friends to talk to. So Guy K and I think she's just avoiding us. The close friendship that I have with Guy K hurts her because she so strongly believes that we're gonna get together. And her evidence is what her friends tell her. Her friend, Girl D, saw me waiting for Guy K after his class, and she ran off to tell her that I was waiting for him, strongly hinting that we're together. But the thing is...I waited for him because I needed his calculator for my next class. And this sorta thing happens quite regularly. Girl D feeds Girl S with half truths all intended to make her to come to the conclusion that I'm after Guy K.

And another point to note: when Girl S introduced Guy K to me, she told Guy K to not become proper friends with me. Just get to know me more than acquaintances...but not as close friends. Our friendship is one that nobody saw coming, including me and Guy K. But Girl S thinks that it's her fault for making us friends. I guess she thinks that if she hadn't introduced us, then we'd never become friends, and we wouldn't have this problem.

I've thought about it, and the only real solution that I can think of is to cut the friendship completely with Guy K...but that's gonna hurt me and Guy K.

So what I'm asking you guys is to help me find a solution that works for all of us. The us being Guy K, Girl S and me.

Thank you.
