my first effort at a vectoring

so i tried to do vectoring but unfortunatly im not good with those damned pen tools so i did these this one using only the lasso tool... and of corse several layers but still tell me what yall think

its good for your first try. I like the hair. The only problem I have is the eyes, I don't like that they are grey

thats pretty good! the eyes are kind gray and the lines are choppy but REALLY good

Yes, the thing about the pen tool is that it helps you get smoother lines by being able to make curves.. It's good for your first, but I think you'd have fun learning to use the pen tool. _smile.gif

I agree, add more layers/colors to the skin.. By the way, who is the girl in the vector?

Dont give up on the pen tool! the pen tool is your friend. your best friend, do you understand me? hahaha
anyways thats a great vector =) the colors you used are really nice. you should def add some morelayers so you have more shading and contrast. work from shadows, then add more layers so it generally gets lighter. Dont try to outline shapes [unless thats the style your going for]. instead work from the outside [shadows] then move towards the center[light]

make more flowers.gif your work shows alot of potential

that is pretty good for a first effort. add more layers and try to make it smooth as possible.

Yes I agree. The hair looks pretty good too for your first, but you really need to work on the eyes--in general they look good, but the colors just don't work.
