^ I don't think it's "noobish" at all. I've seen beginners that have done far worse.
Having said that, I think it looks nifty. Funny text too.  A suggestion though would be since you have that border, try saving it as a gif to avoid having that white canvas in the background. If you've done this in PS, open up a new psd file with the background as transparent then move everything from your image over. Something like that.
