ATTENTION! THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN MOVED TO APRIL 16TH!!!!! I WILL TRY TO PM EVERYONE ABOUT IT AS WELL!!!!
As stated in the Anime Otaku v.3 topic ( Yay!! version 3 ) we have been talking about a contest and we have decided to make a contest on FanFics. So this topic is the guidelines and rules of the FanFic contest. I hope through this contest many more Anime Otaku's will actually become active because its depressing to have over 60 members and only a few being active.

About this contest
_ This contest is about making a FanFic of an anime that you perferably have already watched before. If you are not familiar with the term FanFic it is basically you take the anime characters from the anime you choose and create a story with them, where you are allowed to twist and turn them in your own will without being sued unless they somehow stumble upon this site. But don't worry too much.

Prompt
_ You are allowed to choose any anime and manga. But please don't do some hentai and make it all perverted.. PLEASE!
_ There is no limit on how long it can be. But please make sure it atleast longer than 1 paragraph ( doubt you can tell a whole fanfic in 1 paragraph anyways... )
_ You will be provided with a challenge. It is a topic that you must write about and a sentence that must be inside the FanFic no matter what. When added please "" quote it or bold that statement. If not added or not seen then the FanFic will be disqualified.
_ You will not be graded on Grammar and Vocabulary... ( its not school ) you will be graded on the quality of the story line and how interesting it is ^^

Theme and Sentence
_ Theme will be " Most Romantic Date"
_ Sentence that needs to be inside the FanFic is "I've dreamed of this moment all my life."

News and announcements
_ News and announcements will be updated on the first topic.
_ Judges will not be decided on until we see how many participants there are.
_ Judges will also be able to turn in a FanFic but will not be able to judge their own.
_ So far there is no dead line on sign ups
_ Prize for this contest has not been decided upon.
_ The date has been decided and the deadline will be April 16th,2006 on a sunday. When posting the FanFic there will be a seperate Thread for it so don't worry about that.

Haha. I'll start plotting and planning tonight, when everyone else is sound asleep. I think better in the quiet, at least, I do when it comes to writing a story.

Seeing as there aren't that many people signing up, I say we have two or three judges. Just so we have some sort of different perspective in the judging process.

What do you think?

If I start another now, I won't finish the ones that I'm working on right now...It sounds interesing though....A couple of my fanfics that I'm working on probably could be considered as this category...

Well, there's eight writers signed up now? I think we could feasibly have three judges.

Looks great. But a couple of things. First off, I think your sig might be too big.
Sig size requirement

Also - be careful not to double post. If you want to add on to your previous post, cool. Just no member subsequent posting. (If that makes sense). Just edit your initial post.

Dark's Angel you could turn in one of the those fanfics your currently writing as the FanFic for this contest ^^. Hehe the more we have the better ^^

I think around 3 judges is enough because we can do out of 10 and 30 being the maximum points should be enough ^^

There is no length limit... I won't care if its like 10 pages... As long as you think its sufficient then its fine ^^

I didn't say it was short or long.. Its your choice. If you point out your point either if its within 1 paragraph or 200 pages... then yeah.. its your choice ^^
