Heh, yeah, This is my first vexel. I dunno, it really sucks, but...

(Thumbed)

Don't be too harsh, maybe just give a few tips for a beginner. Oh yeah, and I already know the shading on the arm is really bad...

edit//
I just realized I forgot to add shading to the hair blink.gif
Oh well, maybe later yawn.gif

Yea I have to say it is very choppy.
[not to mention also very sloppy]
You really need to work on shading and such.
But hey practice makes perfect, so keep trying!

Good for a first.
Yes like the others said.
It is very choppy.
The hair looks sort of weird to.
I am just not feeling the backround.
But awesome job for a first vexel!

It's nice for a first. I suggest learning to use the pen tool to shape the parts. That might help with the choppiness. You might not want to scribble the hair next time. Try using pen strokes.

Don't take this to be harsh, cause I'm honestly not trying to be.

But I'd suggest playing with the pen tool first. Learn it's settings and the things you can do with it.

I'd also suggest browsing some of these tutorials:

http://www.vexels.net/tutorials.php

Those should help. They helped me a lot.

Very good for you first.
Much better than mine was.
You've got down the main idea, just keep playing around with the tools and read some tutorials, you'll improve in no time.
