There was a problem with my iPOD so I took it to the Apple store and they gave me a brand new one. I just added all my songs on to the new one and everytime I try and play a song or change a setting it freezes. I've tried things given on the Apple support online and it still freezes...can anyone help? Should I just restore (clean off everything on it) it? blink.gif

BTW I have a 4 GB iPOD mini.

thats what happened to mine. you shouldnt tell apple and theyll redo it for you. but theres a fee unless you purchaced warranty. (sp) i didnt take mine back to ipod because i didnt purchace the warrantly and it didnt unfreeze until 3 months later.

If this is the second one that this has happened to, you might be doing something to cause it.

If you don't have Apple Care, there is a fee to fix it, after 1 year of the purchase. However, the fee is better than waiting to see if it fixes itself. (which is probably not going to happen)

Press and hold Menu and Select until the iPod reboots.

I love how every iPod-related thread becomes iPod bukkake, with all the iPod haters rushing in to blow their loads on iPod's face. Is there a bat signal-type thing for iPod-related posts, or do you just feel your dicks harden every time one gets posted?

So wait, my dad took my old ipod up there and they just gave him a new ipod and put in in the old box. So because I don't have the box that THAT ipod came in with the warrenty and all, I have to pay a fee to get it fixed?
