If some of you are news junkies, you'll notice some news programs have either a liberal bias or a conservative bias. Fox News Channel came-up with their "fair and balanced" slogan at least many times in an hour stretch, but seemed a little more conservative IMO.

So who do you think is actually the "fair and balanced" news network(s)?

PS: Keep this discussion in a civilized manner please.

I don't regularly watch TV news much these days, and I used to watch CNN. They're more leaning to the right, broadcasting the war with reporters travelling with the convoy of soldiers and 3D computer graphics like it was some f**king sporting event. And pretty much all broadcasts, even local news, is filled with bloodshed, violence, shootings, sex, celebrity divorces, regular updates on reality shows and American Idol.

Sad really, but The Daily Show is my only credible source for news on TV. That "fake news" show is pretty much, IMO, the most fair and balanced than the "real" news shows. They crack jokes at both sides of the party, although Stewart dispises Bush more.

yeah, i think the dauily show is the most fair of all of those. there are so many politics controling different media outlets, it's hard to get the truth.

Eh, Stewart even makes fun of Kerry and the democratic party as well. Yeah most of the The Daily Show audience are Liberal, since you can tell by the average laughter when Stewart cracks a joke towards them.

I beileve Stewart is criticising at the issues at a more "common sense" angle than either from left or right. Like the outsider looking in and trying to make sense of everything, instead of blaming one side or the other for anything and everything. He just take that partisanship issue out and put it into a more level-headed outlook at what is going on with the world.
