It looks incredibly over done. I also lose respect for movies and such that are advertised on AIM, it's a pretty dirty way to advertise.

this movie seems so bland. The plot for this movie is so..expected. A girl babysitting for kids and she gets a scary call and the call is from inside the house.

So expected. and the actress looks so amateur(sp?). "Stop caling you sicko" yah..whateva.

This movie seems boring and stupid.

i want to see it so i searched for it and read reviews. some people saw the original movie, which came out in the 70s. a lot of the people who saw the original got upset by the trailer for the remake. they said that the remake's trailer showed a part of the movie that was supposed to be a surprise, and they said that everything's going to be predictable now.

Okay, so it's one of those urban legends we've (well, at least I've) heard a million times. Personally, I think it stays better being a story rather than being made into a movie. Yeah, I agree, I think everything will be predictable, but I still will see it.

A stranger called me and left me a message. I can't understand him though he's mumbling. I don't think I'll call back.

Haha, this movie kinda looks like Phonebooth except different. hahah.

i want to see it, but only because a couple days before in my english class we were talking about urban ledgends & it weird because we each had to tell an urban legend we knew & i told the one about the babysitter&the guy. yeah so when i saw the preview i was like "im gonna go see it" but it looks like one of those movies that someone just decided to make just for the hell of it. =[

at first i really wanted to see it but after seeing the trailer for it a few times it just looks stupid. i think its cause of the actress. they could have gotten someone better.

I still want to see it..even though I don't likw suspense movies. mellow.gif

The main actress is from some Disney movie too. The all original ones...I think it was something like "Let it Rip" ...or Rip girls. nvm. It was the movie about her surfing and her mother was a surfer..yadayada.

That movie is lame. Waste of money. Seriously. Not scarey at all. Very dissapointing I only got scared at the end when she's in the hospital. The movie goes by real slow too. All the action is like within the last 15 minutes of the movie. Wack.

hm, i don't like that preview. I mean, i'm not a big fan of scary movies, but this one scares me more then others for some reason. The fact that the guy is in the house and all and calling her. lol I dunno.
I probably won't be seeing it.

Yeah. I never saw the original. But I found an old trailer for it(Searched IMDB). Its visual quality is nothing like the new one but honestly, the first one looks a heck of a lot darker. This new one seems to polished. But thats how it is these days, looks and substance often gets left beind. I'm not big into the horror/thriller genre but I do want to see the original. It looks really great!

I do have to agree with people though. I cannot believe they showed how he was in the house. I mean that part in the new movie's trailer got my blood pumping a bit. Now I'm bummed though cause I can just imagine how amazing that would've been in the theaters instead. Oh well, there is still one secret which a lot of people don't know(as long as they don't research the films and ask their mom about it, she saw the original). I won't tell you and if you want to be surprised don't research it! But its a good little tidbit which I think is important enough that you could say the whole movie isn't ruined by the trailers.

Although I'm speaking about the television trailer. I haven't seen the theater version. They might give away more and ruin the movie more. Either way though I plan to see both.

Why would you even mention something like "she's in the hospital" I don't know what you're refering to but now I'll be expecting it. Thanks... _dry.gif
