math porfolio, suggestions needed |

hey hey hey.
i have to do a math porfolio. part of the portfolio requires a paper written on ANY subject that might have math in it. it can be short, up to like 2 pages, so i dont need TONS of information. i was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a topic i could do, since i really have no idea. any help? thanks. -jackie. |

When I first saw the topic, I thought it was an IB math portfolio. Bad memories.. bad, bad memories. *shudder*
I would write about the Golden Ratio. Very very interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_ratio Er.. there are simpler explanations out there. But really, it's pretty fascinating. |

You should look into math as used in image processing. That would provide plenty of fodder for a portfolio.

Golden Ratio requires less math skills... practically none at all. We learned about it in my philosophy class. GO FOR IT.
