When was the last time I ran for president? Never. Not only because I'm not of age.. but because I'm not stupid enough (like GWB) to think that I could do a good job at it.
That's a low blow. Since when do you have proof that Bush believed he would do a spectacular job of being president when he ran for it? Clearly that's only your opinion. The reasons politicians run for office is because they want to improve how the country is run, no? Sure, they might not be the absolute best, but what do you really expect? Perfection? That's impossible.

Since you're so dissatisified with how our current president is performing his job, I wonder how you think you could do better. Care to share? All you're doing is whining about everything Bush has done - where are your suggestions? What makes you think he's doing so poorly? What do you have to compare it to? I'm curious to know.

it amazes me how uninformed so many people these days are.

Bush's main opposition, John Kerry, has actually been determined to be less intelligent than George Bush!

So if you consider George Bush stupid, why call Kerry a fool for running for president?

At least kerry can speak intelligently, GB has got to be the worst public speaker I've ever heard in my life, and if you don't see that, well i have nothing further to say about it. Okay enough bashing bush, but i can't help but find that fact very true. Even so i do believe you cannot judge either one's intelligence properly, it is impossible. There are plenty of articles like that for both sides, it is pointless to argue over which one is more intelligent. The best for the job is not always the brainiest anyway.

are you sure about that? they don't get the title of politician for nothing.

keyword: likely. It's propoganda, obviously. The author wants to get some people aroused.

And so the 14 pages of documented evidence serve only to get the author's 'propaganda' across?

Get real.

You cross over from propaganda to facts when 75% of what you're writing is backed by a documented source.

huh.gif i am hardly ever offened, but i do find your statement pretty rude. I simply explained the facts that are out there, but you seem to know all the answers before entertaining the question, so i guess there was no point in me approaching it the way i did. Your examples of studies are pretty irrelevant, AGAIN pipelines and caribou are not even a main concern so why keep bringing them up?

I said it was all facts, for the second time (meaning not my opinion) because i'm not even in favor of that view... so that really wouldn't make sense to assume i wasn't quoting it. huh.gif But if you insist on proving me wrong then i guess you won't care. Sorry i didn't put it in quotes, i meant to, but the way i put it i thought it would be naturally assumed, and i think it was by the looks of your comment. i should have been a little clearer i guess, next time i'll tack on a bibliography in MLA format, okay? rolleyes.gif ... jeeze! and i hate posting off-topic, look what you made me do.

You know what bothers me?

Most of the people who posted 'OMFG I HAYTE BUSH!one!! HE SUCKZORZ!' type comments don't know rat shit about politics. Most of them either blindly follow their parents, blindly follow their teachers, or blindly follow celebrities.

grr..that reminds me of my grandma. she's like "even if you don't like the president you should still support his decisions."

i don't say anything back because i follow the rule "respect your elders" (except when im arguing with my parents shifty.gif) and plus i know that she's wrong and that's all that matters.

psh that's all bullshit. yeah GWB may have a higher IQ than kerry, but that means nothing. there's a difference between book smarts and street smarts...even though GWB clearly doesn't exibit his "intelligence" through his speeches.

oh yeahhh....and george w. bush sucks more than a cheap $2 ho.

should we make a sequel to this topic? heh...it's reached over 20 pages.

I agree SOOOOOO much. I live in Texas, so I was the ONLY person who was rooting for Kerry. Not to nention I was the only one who knew at least 5% of what was going on... People would stomp the halls during election time screaming "KERRY SUCKS! HIS CHIN'S TOO BIG! KERRY SUCKS!" And I'd ask them why and they couldn't come up with an answer. And if I were to even mention that I might dislike George W. Bush, there would literally be a mob of oblivious preteens chasing after me. So eventually, I had to pretend I was a Republican until all the hubbub was over.

Okay, well, that's completely off topic.

I don't think little children on their computers or sitting at home should be saying the president sucks. He's the president for a reason. Why do people have to be so critical? So sometimes in his speeches, his words might come out a little mispronounced or something, but everyone makes mistakes. And I doubt the decisions he's making are going to affect you drastically.

However .. I am pro-choice as far as abortion and perfectly fine with homosexual marriages. I don't seem to understand what goes on in his mind, but I'm sure he can justify himself with the thousands of other people who are on his side. Don't get so caught up with saying 'Bush sucks' or 'Kerry sucks' before you get your facts straight. They're respectable people despite how foolish they may seem. Put yourself in their position. Do you think you would do any better?

Not exactly know more about politics, but have their own opinion. Here, that might be the case. Bush is definitely not in favor in NY, and basically anyone who agrees with Bush here actually thinks for themselves and 'broke free' from society. Not saying they're always neccessarily right, but they definitely thought for themselves.

Yes, I know. There are liberals in NY who truly believe in liberalism. I don't mind that at all. I don't agree, but I don't mind. However, it does concern me that there are also a lot of loud-mouthed teens and adults who just follow the media.

Ariel, it's the same with the other side. I'm like, one of the only liberals in Indiana. Does that mean I'm right, and everyone else is wrong, simply because I'm different? No. People follow blindly anywhere, in religion, in politics, etc. OH WELL. Get over it.

Just because they're in the minority, doesn't mean they thought things through--they could be simply swallowing their parents' (or, ahem, their priests') views, too, without thinking things through.

I personally don't have a problem with him.

For as many people I know who hate him, it's odd how he won isn't it?

For everyone that hates them, there must be many more that like him and feel safe with him.

Most people here are teenagers right?

I feel that teenagers don't like Bush because people my age feel a need to rebel. And war is the usual thing to protest, is it not? I believe that many teens fall under the group mentality, and they don't really get all of the information. Not accusing anyone of that, it's just what I see most teens to be like.
