Menus, mine are so ugly Options

ok, so here's the deal. I hate the little div scroll bars I use for my links box. Is there a code for a drop menu that also lets me put code in it? I've tried drop menus with select tags but I can't put as much as a color code without it just going blank for me.

Oh, and it will be ugly in anything but IE. The page says that but I feel compelled to say that here as well.

any help with fixing that would also be appreciate I guess.
