i`v been liking this guy for more than a month now. i finally got the guts to tell him a few days ago. but he thought it was a joke... -__- here it goes..:
me: :tap tap: hi him: :takes off his headphones: what? me: i think i like you him: i donno what to say. [for the next 60 sec.. i didnt know what to say so i kept quiet. he kept saying "i donno what to say"....] him: is this a joke?? me: what? no..... him: it seems like a joke.. me: it's not a joke.... -___- him: what's your name? me: april him: hi. im andy. how are you? :shakes hands: him: we can get to know each other more. ....... isnt this weird???? for one thing, my friends were at the backgroud.. and they were laughing their ass off when we were talking. that probably bothered him.. [but they weren laughing at HIM*.. they were laughing at me.. ] but still... a JOKE?? you kidding me? after a whole month of preparation.. on how to talk to him.. he thought it was a joke... !!!! it pissed me off cuz that was just rude. but i donno, maybe he thought iw as rude... friends laughing.. w/e. now.. my friends told me to wave at him and smile and say hi to him.. but i just dont feel like doing that.. first of all, im just really scared now cuz i think that convo was like a soft rejection. and second of all, i sounded really stupid in that convo.  sucks.. any idea what should i do now? [i still like him.. ] |

Just talk to him about it.. if he tries avoiding the subject, FORCE HIM TO talk to you about it =)

Keep talking to him... guys need reassurance if a girl likes them... we arent 100% sure... i have asked girls that plenty of times

All guys need reassurance if a girl likes them... most guys cant pick up on it... especially if its the first time you talk to them... I know if a girl walked up to me and said "I like you" I'd be like "WTF, you are lying"... so just talk to him, flirt with him, let him know how you feel

Keep talking to him. Guys can be slow in the whole " I'm liked, or is it a joke" process. Girls can be like that but guys tend to be that way more often. So just talk to him..say hi..wave.do like your friends said. It will show him you like him and really want to get to know him..

that was the first we talked....
i know its weird.. but i really like him tho. in the beginning.. it was just admiring* cuz of his music.. but now... it's gettin much more seirous than that.. |

by the way... he's a senior... hes leaving soon. thats why i forced myself to tell him that i like him.. otherwise i would usually get to know the guy better.. and usually i woudlnt do the asking. cuz i dont think any guyz worth it.. nah nah.. like i wouldnt rush through it.. but now... 20 something days left... i dont got time to get to know him better you know... thats why i just said it straight out... sounded weird. but i really like him damnit.

awww.. i understnad.. but whatz so hard about.. get people to go with you meet more people? go to some parties or something.. and get to know your friendsz friends. you dont necessarily need someone to be next to you and like "this is A. and this is B. ok now you two can be friends." you know what i mean. when you get chance to meet people. dont be afraid or reject them. get out. and have fun.

get to know him. just keep on talking to him. because yes, not just guyz but grl to we need reasuring. because i mean c'mon now. how would you feel if that happend to you where you didnt know that person and came up to u and told you that? wellz, yeah... just talk to him and get to know him more. good luck!
