Jasmine to launch International Tour
'Idol' star set for four-month tour by Wayne Harada Honolulu Advertiser February 11, 2006 Jasmine Trias, Hawaii's "American Idol" finalist from the 2004 season, will launch a four-month international tour Feb. 20 in the Philippines. She'll share billing with South Border, a Philippines group for part of the tour, but also will do solo shows. "I feel like I'm reaching my full potential as a musician and 2006 will be an exciting journey for me," she said in a statement. The tour - which will stop in Japan, Australia and Indonesia - will enable her to "share my passion with the world." Trias also will give concerts in 10 U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., Seattle, Houston and Orlando, Fla. GMA, a network in the Philippines, will produce an autobiography on the Mililani resident, tracking her pre-"Idol" life to her third place finish. |
