But how I see it is that science perform these miracles of saving the dying, healing the sick... etc.

But what about those numerous stories whereas doctor's couldn't save their patients at all, and they told them they only had a certain amount of days/weeks/months to live? But they received Jesus Christ into their heart, and they were perfectly healed.

He might just save me from a certain disaster something, or He might not. Hehe, I guess it depends on whether or not I'm a Christian.

Bah. I'm trying to think of a good analogy, but I can't.
So I'll just try to explain it the best I can. You can't just wait for his miracles to happen on you. Afterall, they happen to people so unexpectanly and surprisingly. Science and technology, hm. You still have to save people, overall. That's what doctors are for. I guess God just performs his miracles on certain individuals that long to seek him, wait for His miracles to be performed upon them.

Could it have been the person's last line of survival mechanism? I don't know if such a thing exist, but then again, I question God's very exisitence. If there's a possibility that He exists, then I'm sure something like a 'last line of survial mechanism' exist. I don't know, I'm not trying to be stubborn. Promise.
