im sorry i wasnt sure if this topic...what it should be under. so since this is for my school i thought this.
I decided to sing for the talent show. Alot of people say im good and so far my average from a 1-10 scale is a 7. for a person who hasnt taken lessons at all I say thats pretty darn good. anyways i screwed up at the first audition because i needed my background music. but anyways. does anyone have any good vocal warm ups? It would really help me alot thanks!~ |

you could do stuff like.
HAWW HAWW HAWW HAW HAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and stuff. Or do the do re mi fa so or google " vocal warm ups " |

And yeah, I was in vocal ensemble and that's all we did for warmups. |

Every morning we start with certain warms up i think would be hard to explain. Uhm, try doing the Do -Ti scale. Depending on your musical part ( Are you Alto or Soprani or a Second Soprano/Alto 1st Alto/Second Soprano. ) Then start with scopping your way through your highest vocal hit and go as low as you can and just gravitate down there.
Then work your diaphragm and do somethin with your body to make your voice project. We do this step and arm movement thing. |

In choir at my school, we start by humming and giving back massages. (great start)
But for warming up rangewise sing up and down the scale like a "roller coaster" on an awww/ahhhh Tongue Twister help also. (Mamma Made me Mash My M&Ms Oh my, Oh My, Oh My oh My) |

For choir, we sing some weird words and stuff.
 We sing mememememememememomomomomomomomomooooooooooooo up the scale. And some other tunes while humming. It kinda sounds weird at first.
